Resource Centre Services

The centre is a resource for the areas of Hesters Way, Fiddlers Green, Springbank, Springfields, Arle Farm, St Marks and Rowanfield. The resource centre has well equipped conference facilities and a choice of different sized rooms, which are available for hire at excellent rates. In addition a variety of serviced office and commercial space is rented out at the centre. Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project manages the Centre.

This is a large and versatile part of the centre that is able to provide space for meetings, conferences and other functions.

Computer Room

There are 18 up to date computers in this room loaded with a variety of modern software. These computers enable local people and businesses to access a variety of learning and other opportunities using ICT. The suite is also available for hire for organisations to use for training, etc.

Interview Rooms

There are three small rooms near the reception area that are available at a reasonable cost to enable various agencies to conduct interviews, offer information, advice, guidance, support or counselling.

Car Parking

Car parking at the centre is free for those attending meetings. There is also a large pay and display car park at Coronation Square Shopping Centre which is across the road from Hesters Way Community Resource Centre.

Puddles Nursery
Puddles nursery provides a purpose built childcare setting and a safe play area and garden for up to 31 childcare places and is open from 8am to 6pm.

Healthy Living Centre / Choice + Service
The Healthy Living Centre provides a wide range of nurse led services to anyone living or working in the Hesters Way area and also provides practice nurse and GP services to patients of specific practices. JT’s Cafe
JT's Corner Cafe provides a facility for anyone using the Resource Centre. It offers an informal meeting place where a cup of coffee or a full meal can be enjoyed. The cafe also provides catering for meetings, functions and conferences held in the Centre.

Hesters Way Partnership
A not for profit charity based in Hesters Way, Cheltenham managed by a Board of Directors and comprising partner organisations aiming to facilitate and promote a sustainable community in Hesters Way and Springbank.

Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project
Hesters Way Neighbourhood Project was set up in 1995 and is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee whose purpose is to help transform people’s lives by providing local services to local people. A not for profit organisation it provides a range of services to people living and working on the west side of Cheltenham in the neighbourhoods of Hesters Way, Fiddlers Green, St. Marks, St Peters, Rowanfield, Arle, Cavendish Park, Springfields, Arle Farm and Springbank, which makes up over 20% of the town’s population.

Run by local people for local people the organisation helps tackle social exclusion issues across local neighbourhoods, relieving poverty, ill health and disadvantage through advocacy, education, personal development, self help and active community projects. The Project works progressively to involve and empower as many local residents as possible to improve the local area and quality of life.
